San Rafael

When I was little, my dad used to take us to the San Rafael. It's the desert that's down past Price, Utah, where he and my mom grew up. I used to love going to the desert with my dad. We would hike and explore and find dinosaur tracks and Indian writings. I thought it was just the greatest thing ever--and all right here in Utah! Riley had never been down there, and I hadn't been in over 10 years, so it was time to take a trip back down. We had a grand old time, even though it was pretty cold.

Me and my Jo Jo all bundled up
There was not way he was going to get cold...

Shooting the glock.

Dinosaur track of an Allosaurus. We used to come see this when I was little and it was  as cool to me today as it was back then.
Riley thought it was cool too
Sandstone
Random bright trees in the middle of the desert
Bighorn Indian writings. These are 2000 years old. They were painted at the time of Christ!

Jo giving me an ornery face. He was actually really good throughout the entire trip

Riley's grandpa. He's named after him!
